"I love it when they serve dessert with the meal, but call it salad."

That is how my niece's husband describes this treat

  •  Combine and set aside:
    • 12 oz Cream Cheese
    • 1 cups sugar
  • Mix and press into 9x13 baking dish:
    • 2 ¼ cups crushed pretzels
    • ½ chopped pecans
    • ¾ cup melted butter
  • Bake at 400° 10 minutes
  • Cool.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture over pretzel crust
  • Spread 8-oz Cool Whip over cream cheese.
  • Chill 30 minutes.
  • Prepare Jell-O Layer
    • Dissolve 6-oz pkg red Jell-O
    • In 2-cups boiling water
    • Add 1-cup cold water
    • Add 1 large pkg frozen fruit(s)
